Kelso Industries is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer in the St. Louis area. You will develop detailed HVAC piping and sheet metal designs, create constructible Revit models, and coordinate with engineers to ensure standards are met.

You will guide junior designers and participate in design reviews to resolve clashes and keep projects on schedule. The role offers on-site or remote work options, with a focus on collaboration across disciplines and strong attention to energy efficiency and

Formación

Experience in layout and design of HVAC piping and sheet metal systems.
Ability to develop detailed constructible designs in Revit to project standards.
Experience running clash detection in Navisworks and coordinating with other trades.

Responsabilidades

Lay out and design HVAC piping systems (chilled water, heating hot water, condensate, steam).
Lay out and design sheet metal ductwork systems (supply, return, exhaust, process air).
Produce construction drawings from Revit models; ensure designs meet standards.
Mentor junior designers on piping and sheet metal best practices.
Participate in coordination meetings and track design issues to closeout.
