Job summary

MMR Group, Inc. is seeking a BIM Tech to join our Columbus, OH district office. The role focuses on coordinating designs, creating 3D models, and producing shop drawings for electrical construction projects.

You will model content, coordinate with different trades, perform site surveys as needed, and ensure drawings meet NEC and local code requirements. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as BIM Coordinator, Detailer or Modeler.
• Proficient in MEP REVIT and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and coordinate with trades.

Responsibilities

• Design models including coordination, shop drawings and as-builts.
• Model content and coordinate with other trades and site team.
• Prepare sketches showing wiring and equipment locations per specs.
• Coordinate with project team to resolve RFIs and design issues.
• Review drawings for conflicts and ensure compliance with codes.
• Support field teams with as-built and survey data.
