Job summary

MMR Group is seeking a BIM Technician for our North Carolina site. The role focuses on creating 3D models, coordinating with trades, and preparing accurate drawings per specifications.

Expect involvement in RFIs, field surveys, and resolving clashes with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED (Associates preferred), experience as BIM Coordinator/Detailer/Modeler, and proficiency in MEP REVIT and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience as BIM Coordinator, Detailer, or Modeler.
• Proficiency in MEP REVIT and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design models including coordination, shop drawings, and as-builts.
• Model content and coordinate with other trades.
• Prepare wiring/equipment sketches per specifications.
• Apply National Electrical Code knowledge.
• Review drawings for conflicts and compliance with codes.
• Collaborate with project management during RFIs and reviews.
• Coordinate drawings with trades and support site surveys.
• Maintain logs for RFIs, transmittals, and drawings.
