Job summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Revit Family Creation specialist to deliver detailed BIM models and documentation. The role focuses on creating and managing digital representations of buildings using BIM tools, with an emphasis on coordination and standards compliance.

You will work with engineers, architects, and other professionals to generate accurate models, organize drawing sets, and extract 2D drawings for construction documents while adapting to evolving project needs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of BIM/construction/architecture-related experience.
• Associate's degree in drafting & design or related field required.
• Strong understanding of BIM execution plans and standards.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models using BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Develop BIM execution plans and enforce standards on projects.
• Conduct BIM coordination meetings and manage discipline models.
• Organize drawing sets and coordinate existing condition/LiDAR models.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to gather information.
• Update models per revised plans and specifications; generate 2D drawings for construction docs.
