Job summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Revit Family Creation specialist to deliver complex BIM models and execution plans. You will work with engineers, architects, and other professionals to gather information for accurate models and ensure standards are followed.

The role emphasizes independent work with mentorship potential, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, and a focus on 3D model creation, drawing extraction, and LiDAR coordination.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in drafting & design or related field is required.
• Typically 4+ years of BIM, construction, architecture, or related experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience developing BIM Execution Plans and coordinating models.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and enforce project standards.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings and manage shared coordinates.
• Organize drawing sets and manage sheet indexes.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to gather data for accurate models.
• Update models per revisions and extract 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Coordinate LiDAR/existing condition models and data.
