Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a BIM Coordinator with strong Revit expertise to manage model setup, keep project standards, and coordinate between design teams and external partners. Responsibilities include meetings, folder management, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of Revit experience, BIM certifications, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and colleagues throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in BIM preferred.
• 2+ years minimum, 3+ preferred, or equivalent Revit experience.
• Strong Revit knowledge with emphasis on project setup and model management.
• Ability to troubleshoot Revit/design software issues.
• Knowledge of design techniques and standards for technical plans.

Responsibilities

• Determine model setup configuration with PM and understand project scope requirements.
• Attend project meetings with clients including BIM kickoff.
• Manage project folder organization, file sharing, and archival between disciplines and external partners.
• Provide team support for Virtual Design software and escalate as needed.
• Identify training needs for BIM standards and tools.
• Review models and PDFs for compliance with modeling standards.
• Maintain models and apply best practices.
• Run clash detection reports and participate in BIM coordination.
• Follow standards for modeling and production of drawings of high quality.
• Coordinate models and workflow among design team members.
