Job summary

Brown and Caldwell in Nashville, TN seeks a Revit Family Creation specialist to support BIM workflows. You will create and manage digital representations of buildings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, with limited supervision and strong independent judgment.

The role involves producing 3D models and 2D drawings, coordinating with engineers and architects, developing execution plans, organizing drawing sets, and mentoring junior staff, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of BIM, construction, or architecture experience.
• An associate's degree in drafting & design, architecture technologies, civil technologies, or related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of BIM execution plans and standards.
• Experience creating 3D models and 2D drawings from BIM data.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex technical support or production/manual tasks.
• Develop BIM execution plans.
• Enforce standards management on projects.
• Conduct BIM coordination meetings.
• Organize drawing sets and sheet index management.
• Develop discipline models and manage shared coordinates.
• Create detailed 3D models using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to gather information.
• Update and modify models per revised plans.
• Generate 2D drawings and construction details from 3D models.
• Coordinate existing condition/LiDAR model.
• Adapt to additional assignments as needed.
• Mentorship to help less experienced team members develop their skills.
