Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks a BC representative to drive BIM best practices, training, and strategic design delivery. You will provide local leadership, technical guidance, and enforce standards across projects, coordinating with consultants and designers to align scope and quality.

The role requires 5+ years BIM experience, strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, and a track record delivering AE projects. Office-based in NYC area with full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successful project delivery in AE.
• Deep knowledge ofBuildings systems design, layout, and coordination.
• Expert level Revit and AutoCAD Architecture skills.
• Strong BIM coordination, clash detection and standards.
• Ability to lead BC technology initiatives and manage priorities.
• Experience with end-user training and BIM standards enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Represents BC architectural practice needs via active participation in the monthly Digital Practice Coordination meeting.
• Acts as liaison for BIM related subject matter both internally and externally.
• Influences, implements, and supports interdisciplinary standards and process improvements related to digital project delivery.
• Provides direction and assistance to Architectural project teams with project scope, approach, setup, and delivery including BIM Execution Plans (BXP) and model matrices.
• Develops families and other electronic content to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Reviews projects to ensure quality and cohesion with standards.
• Creates and leads end user training on BIM tools and processes.
• Maintains software template files to ensure drafting and modeling standards.
