Job summary

Vertiv’s BIM department in Anderson, SC is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Designer to support modeling, coordination, and model management for busbar projects. You will collaborate with engineers across architecture, electrical, mechanical, and structural disciplines to ensure timely delivery and high design quality.

The role involves Revit modeling, BIM model coordination, and audits, with occasional training and guidance for teammates.

Qualifications

• BS or above in Engineering (architecture, structural, mechanical, or electrical).
• Good written & verbal communication in English.
• At least 1 year of BIM modeling experience using Revit.
• Familiarity with BIM360 or other model sharing/coordination services.
• Familiarity with Navisworks, Solibri, etc.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams is a plus.
• Dynamo scripting knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Interest in programming languages is a plus but not required.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Successful creation and delivery of BIM models and associated outputs to clients.
• Multi-disciplinary Revit modeling and BIM model creation, corrections, or updates.
• Train and support Revit users to ensure BIM standards are maintained.
• Regular BIM model audits and archiving.
• Educate team on best BIM practices and internal processes.
• Internal staff training and BIM support across projects.
