BIM Designer (Revit) — Modular Building Shop Drawings

Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a BIM Designer for our Pelzer, SC manufacturing plant. You will draft 3D models of modular buildings and create comprehensive shop drawings using Revit, coordinating with a team of BIM Designers to validate fabrication details.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or design, 5 years CAD experience, and strong knowledge of architectural/MEP drawings. On-site work at the Pelzer facility is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of total CAD experience.
• 3 years of Autodesk Revit experience; knowledge of other CAD programs is a plus.
• 2 years of architectural/MEP construction drawings and understanding of blueprints.
• Experience with fabrication or engineered shop drawings.
• Excellent learning capacity.

Responsibilities

• Draft and develop 3D models of modular buildings for ongoing projects.
• Model architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing elements in Revit.
• Generate shop drawings from 3D models including fabrication and assembly instructions.
• Revise shop drawings per client comments and operations requests.
