Job summary

DBM Vircon is seeking an Electrical BIM Technician to support electrical design and BIM coordination on diverse construction projects. You will create 2D/3D models in Revit, develop HV/LV schematics, and coordinate across disciplines within a federated BIM environment.

The role requires leading model coordination meetings, resolving clashes, and collaborating with engineering teams. Proficiency in Navisworks and scripting for automation is a plus; travel and remote collaboration are possible.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Revit and electrical design with HV/LV knowledge.
• Experience delivering BIM models in a federated environment.
• Ability to lead/model coordination meetings and resolve clashes.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage 2D/3D electrical BIM models using Revit.
• Develop HV and LV primary/secondary schematics.
• Coordinate BIM models across disciplines in a federated environment.
• Lead model coordination meetings and resolve clashes using Navisworks or similar.
• Support design teams and communicate timelines clearly.
• Identify opportunities for workflow improvements including automation.
