Sidley Austin LLP is seeking a Billing Development Lead to drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of firmwide billing processes and technology solutions. The role partners with Accounting, Billing, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency, training, and operational excellence across the firm.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in billing/financial operations, strong Excel skills, and demonstrated project leadership. Travel to U.S.

Competenze

• 7+ years of relevant experience in billing or financial operations, or related area.
• Experience evaluating business processes and root cause analysis with process improvements.
• Experience leading projects involving business processes, systems, or technology implementations.
• Experience with 3E or comparable billing/financial management technology.

Mansioni

• Lead assigned billing development projects and workstreams from planning through implementation, coordinating stakeholders, deliverables, documentation, timelines, and follow-up activities.
• Evaluate billing processes and systems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement improvements for efficiency and consistency.
• Serve as a subject matter resource on billing technology, providing guidance to Billing personnel.
• Collaborate to develop and implement billing procedures, training materials, and tools across offices.
• Support billing system implementations, conversions, and upgrades with requirements, testing, and deployment support.
• Coordinate with Billing, IT, and other departments to address questions and resolve issues.
• Develop and deliver onboarding and training for Billing personnel and contribute to global training programs.
• Maintain Billing Knowledge Base and process documentation for accuracy.
• Coordinate with Sidley IT on billing tech issues and action items.
• Perform due diligence and ad hoc analysis to support billing initiatives.
