Job summary

cafairplan is seeking a Billing Technical Supervisor to oversee billing systems operations, data quality, and BI reporting. You will guide UAT, fix issues, and drive process improvements to align with accounting policies.

You will supervise accounting staff, monitor monthly closes, and collaborate with IT, product, and finance teams to ensure accurate, timely billing and audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, CS, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of billing system or accounting tech experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience.
• Advanced Excel and Word skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Duck Creek experience with Billing module preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Billing department’s technical operations for accuracy and efficiency.
• Evaluate and implement requirements to streamline accounting processes.
• Oversee system issue identification, resolutions and UAT.
• Lead Billing UAT testing for releases and upgrades.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to validate system performance.
• Ensure timely month-, quarter-, and year-end closes.
• Ensure policy compliance and proper documentation and reconciliations.
• Fulfill internal and external audit requests with reports.
• Liaise with IT, Product Development, and other departments.
• Supervise and develop Accounting staff; provide guidance.
• Conduct annual reviews and counseling of staff.
• Perform backup duties when required.
