Billing Specialist

Hybrid | Global Company Job Description The Billing Specialist will be responsible for processing all paperwork related to scheduled service jobs as outlined in working instructions. This role supports the accurate and timely completion of service billing activities, including processing service partner invoices, reviewing billing documentation, and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Process all paperwork related to scheduled service jobs according to working instructions.
• Support the accurate and timely completion of service billing activities.
• Process service partner invoices and related paperwork as per working instructions.
• Review billing documentation for completeness, accuracy, and required supporting information.
• Resolve billing discrepancies, invoice issues, and open billing items.
• Create service contracts and service orders for contract-related services.
• Maintain and update contract and service order information in relevant systems.
• Assist with contract-related documentation, data accuracy, and process compliance.
• Maintain complete and accurate service transaction records to support billing and customer follow-up.
• Handle customer questions and complaints related to billing, service contracts, and administrative items.
• Inform appropriate managers of customer complaints or disputes.
• Advise regional service managers about technician paperwork quality and parts issues.
• Support direct managers with reports, analysis, and review of orders, projects, or inventory.
• Assist in maintaining databases, business systems, and service administration records.
• Maintain accurate source data to support service billing, reporting, and process visibility.
• Support reporting and analysis activities related to service orders, invoices, contracts, and billing status.
• Assist in updating and maintaining invoicing work instructions.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of billing/invoicing experience
• Experience with ERP systems
• Proficiency in Excel and 10-key

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in invoicing, accounting, reconciliation, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
