Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our finance team. You will generate and distribute accurate invoices, verify data, and reconcile customer accounts across 4,000+ locations, acting as the bridge between logistics and customers to ensure timely billing of shipments.

Qualificações

• Associates degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is required.
• Experience in construction materials, logistics, or utility industries preferred.
• Knowledge of specialized billing software and automated invoicing systems.

Responsabilidades

• Invoice management: Generate and distribute accurate, itemized invoices and credit memos.
• Data verification: Review POs, sales tickets, and freight documents to calculate fees, discounts, and shipment charges.
• Account reconciliation: Post daily deposits, balance AR ledgers, and reconcile customer accounts for general ledger accuracy.
• Customer service: Act as a point of contact for billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally.
• Reporting: Prepare daily and monthly billing summaries and assist with financial reporting and audits.
• Collections: Monitor aging reports and send reminders for past-due accounts, setting up payment plans.
• Record keeping: Maintain digital and physical filing systems for all financial transactions and correspondence.
