The role requires experience with managed care billing, long-term care settings, and familiarity with Medicare Advantage, commercial, VA, and workers' comp payers; associates or bachelor's degree preferred.

The Billing Specialist manages the 3 rd party billing including but not limited to initial claim review, releasing claims to the payer, claim and account adjustments, claim follow up, claim disputes and appeals, as well as account research for multiple property locations.

Requirements

• Managed care insurance billing experience
• Skilled nursing/long-term care billing experience
• Claims management and follow-up experience
• Medicare Advantage, commercial, VA, workers comp payers
• Associates Degree; Or, Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration/Management preferred
• One to three years Business Office experience in a Long-Term Care setting
