American Senior Communities LLC is hiring a Billing Specialist to manage 3rd party billing, including initial claim review, releasing claims to payers, adjustments, appeals, and follow-up. The role supports multiple property locations and requires strong knowledge of managed care billing.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Medicare Advantage, commercial, VA, and workers' compensation payers, plus an associates or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business

Qualifications

• Experience with managed care billing required.
• Background in Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care billing preferred.
• Experience with claims management and follow-up required.

Responsibilities

• Handle 3rd party billing including initial claim review.
• Release claims to payer and handle claim adjustments and disputes.

The Billing Specialist manages the 3rd party billing including but not limited to initial claim review, releasing claims to the payer, claim and account adjustments, claim follow up, claim disputes and appeals, as well as account research for multiple property locations.

Requirements

• Managed care insurance billing experience
• Skilled nursing/long-term care billing experience
• Claims management and follow-up experience
• Medicare Advantage, commercial, VA, workers comp payers
• Associates Degree; Or, Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration/Management preferred
• One to three years Business Office experience in a Long-Term Care setting
