Job summary

American Senior Communities in Indianapolis seeks a Central Billing Office Biller to support data entry for accounts receivable, bank deposits, and reconciliation of cash and census.

You will post third-party payments, submit co-insurance claims, review aging, and ensure Medicare claims are set to pay. We seek applicants with an associate degree or equivalent and familiarity with UB04, plus strong math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or training, or 1+ year experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing regulations.
• Familiar with UB04 form.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures; write business correspondence.
• Strong numerical skills and basic algebra.
• Ability to define problems and interpret technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Enter accounts receivable data and reconcile census and cash entries.
• Post third-party payments to accounts.
• Submit co-insurance claims to insurers (electronic and/or hard copy).
• Review insurance aging and follow up on claims.
• Complete month-end processing and billing.
• Support special projects as assigned.
• Save files to Shared Drive and maintain records.
