Job summary

Thorpe-Desig is seeking a Billing Specialist in Brentwood, CA to ensure timely and accurate billing. You will generate invoices, review subcontracts, and liaise with project managers to resolve billing issues while maintaining exceptional organizational and communication skills.

The role requires 2+ years in AR within construction, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with construction billing software. On-site position with competitive benefits is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience in a construction or job-cost environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of construction billing software (Procore, SupplyPro, Viewpoint) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Generate and issue accurate and timely invoices to customers based on contracts and agreements.
• Deliver invoices to clients via digital and client-required methods.
• Review project-specific subcontracts and POs for accuracy.
• Identify inconsistencies and understand lien release procedures.
• Provide project compliance forms as needed.
• Coordinate with collection team to resolve billing issues and ensure invoice accuracy.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Billing Specialist$27–$32 per hour DOE | Immediate Openings | Full-timeJob Summary:The Billing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing. This role works closely with the Finance Manager and liaises with the project managers to resolve billing and coding issues. This role requires a detail- oriented individual.
