Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Revenue and Finance Automation specialist to help customers optimize billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition. You will collaborate with sales, pre-sales, product, and engineering to design Stripe Billing solutions that reduce churn and improve cash collection.

You will analyze customers' quote-to-cash workflows, translate requirements into Stripe capabilities, and share best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions architecture focused on billing/revenue management
• 3+ years in order-to-cash in a SaaS environment with subscription lifecycle management
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 for SaaS and usage-based models
• Experience with billing and ERP software (NetSuite/Workday/SAP/Zuora, etc.)
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert on Stripe Billing, Invoicing, and Revenue Recognition to accelerate opportunities
• Demonstrate deep understanding of order-to-cash, including subscription and usage-based billing, dunning, and revenue recognition
• Conduct deep discovery of customers' billing architecture to architect solutions
• Advise on complex design: upgrades, entitlement management, multi-currency revenue recognition, ERP integrations
• Create reusable assets and reference architectures for broader teams
• Partner with Billing product sales to drive opportunities with Stripe's largest customers
• Serve as Voice of the Customer to influence product roadmap
• Identify trends and provide insights to product and sales
• Escalation point to resolve complex technical issues with engineering
• Represent financial health in quarterly forecast calls
• Support marketing events and executive briefings
