Keystone is a premier economics, technology, and strategy consulting firm seeking a Billing Specialist to support accurate billing, invoicing, and project financial data across active engagements. You will work with the Senior Billing Specialist, Finance, Operations, and project leads to ensure time entry accuracy and timely invoicing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing, accounting, revenue operations, project finance, or related experience.
• Experience in professional services such as consulting, law, or accounting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with financial data.
• Familiarity with project-based billing, time entry, invoicing, accounts receivable, or revenue tracking processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Finance, Operations, project leads, and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work-in-Process Management & Project Support: Help with WIP review and tracking, monitor time entry, assist with WIP balances, update financial trackers, flag delays, maintain records.
• Revenue Tracking & Forecasting Support: Assist monthly revenue estimates, compare actuals vs forecast, ensure estimates align with terms, support month-end close.
• Client Billing & Invoice Management: Prepare pro forma invoices, support invoice review, ensure invoices reflect pricing, scope, time entries, and terms, manage documentation and delivery tracking.
• Billing Operations & Process Support: Ensure consistent billing workflows, identify gaps, collaborate to improve accuracy and timeliness, maintain organized billing records.
• Team & Process Alignment: Partner with Finance and Operations to improve processes and support reporting and audit readiness.
