Job summary

Environmental Works, Inc. is seeking an Invoice Manager to ensure accurate project setup, invoicing, and revenue reporting across offices. You will review contracts, prepare invoices, monitor WIP, and support project closeout while liaising with Project Managers, Client Managers, and accounting teams.

The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and professional communication. Proficiency with Deltek systems and MS Office is preferred; this position is on-site in Illinois.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Two+ years in administrative, billing, invoicing, or revenue operations is a plus.
• Experience with project-based invoicing and client billing requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and project data to support accurate setup in company systems.
• Set up new projects and proposals daily for offices or work groups.
• Prepare, review, and process project invoices accurately and on time.
• Monitor WIP and assist with billing moves and revisions as needed.
• Enter daily equipment logs and cost data for costing and client billing.
