Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 5+ years in billing, accounts receivable, service operations or related area.
• Ability to manage invoice queues, aging, and deadlines with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication with service providers and customers.
• Experience navigating multiple systems and customer portals; note keeping.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day flow of service provider invoices through intake, validation, correction, approval, and customer billing.
• Build and maintain relationships with service providers, confirm expectations, and secure missing invoices and documentation.
• Coordinate with customer contacts and internal teams to clarify billing requirements and resolve issues.
• Operate across billing/ERP platforms, service management systems, portals, reporting tools, and Excel; keep notes up to date.
• Monitor invoice queues, aging, rejections, and deadlines; prioritize high-impact items and drive closure.
• Validate invoices against contracts, rates, taxes, and PO information; ensure proper backup.
• Research and reconcile discrepancies with providers, customers, operations, and finance; document resolutions.
• Provide guidance and escalation support to outsourced billing resources; promote consistent execution.
• Prepare operational billing reports; highlight risks and improvements to reduce rework and cycles.
