Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Billing Specialist in Atlanta to ensure accurate and timely capital and clinical services invoicing across SAP and Unity. You will review contracts and billing schedules, prepare CTSI and AOS invoices, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet monthly and fiscal deadlines.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in Accounting or related field, 2+ years in billing/AR, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable or related financial operations.
• Experience using an ERP system to process customer invoices and review order or contract information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including filters, sorts, lookups and PivotTables, and comfort reviewing and reconciling billing data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in invoice amounts, billing schedules and customer information.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process capital down payment and periodic invoices according to customer agreements and billing plans.
• Prepare CTSI and AOS clinical services invoices in SAP and Unity, including recurring monthly billing.
• Review contracts, billing schedules and documents to confirm invoice amounts and terms.
• Review billing due lists, investigate unbilled items and discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with teams.
• Validate invoice amounts and billing information across SAP, Unity and agreements; correct discrepancies with owners.
• Send invoices to customers and submit through portals, retaining supporting records.
• Investigate billing inquiries and support corrections, cancellations and rebilling as required.
• Partner with Order Management, Contracts, Sales, Clinical Services, Collections, Accounting and IT to resolve issues.
• Maintain recurring billing reports and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Complete billing activities within monthly, quarterly and fiscal year-end deadlines.
• Document procedures and provide backup support for other billing activities after training.
• Participate in process improvements and system testing related to billing accuracy and efficiency.
