Job summary

TCI Transportation seeks a Specialist Lines Billing Manager to own end-to-end billing across Brokerage, Leasing & Rentals, In-House Financing, Properties, and Used Truck Sales. You will lead billing team members, strengthen revenue accuracy, and build consistent processes across transactional, recurring, and contract-based billing models.

The role requires 5+ years in billing or revenue operations with leadership, and a hands-on approach to coaching and improving processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in billing, revenue operations, or related financial processes, including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience supporting multiple business lines or high-volume transactional billing environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to handle complex billing scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Own End-to-End Billing across all Specialty lines, ensuring invoices are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
• Lead and develop billing team members, manage workloads and priorities, oversee ad hoc billing and credits, and establish clear performance accountability.
• Protect Revenue Accuracy by establishing and enforcing billing controls, proper revenue classification, and support for accurate revenue recognition.
• Get Billing Setups Right by overseeing new account setup and ongoing maintenance of billing structures, frequencies, and system configurations.
• Own the Month-End Billing Process, ensuring timely billing completion and reconciliation, partnering with Accounting for accurate financial reporting.
• Build Better Workflows by standardizing processes, reducing manual work, improving visibility, and developing system-driven workflows for growth.
• Solve Problems Across Departments by coordinating with Operations, Sales, Accounting, and others to resolve billing issues and ensure data quality.
• Create Clear Standards & Accountability by owning trackers, reporting, and SOPs, driving improvements for consistency and efficiency.
