Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience managing billing functions.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attorneys, staff, and clients.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with oversight of daily billing department operations, ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing.
• Supervise billing staff and provide guidance and training opportunities.
• Monitor and manage the monthly billing cycle, including time-entry reviews and final bill generation.
• Oversee month-end and year-end billing processes.
• Review client billing guidelines and ensure compliance.
• Work with attorneys and staff to resolve discrepancies and client inquiries.
• Generate and analyze billing reports to track productivity and receivables.
• Assist with process improvements and system enhancements for billing and financial systems.
• Coordinate with the accounting team on billing, collections and revenue tracking.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive billing data with integrity.
