Qualifications

• Experience with billing in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong working knowledge of billing functions and legal billing cycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly proficient in Excel and data analysis for billing.
• Experience with Aderant and Prebill Viewer or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Billing Team; establish controls for quality and integrity of billing processes.
• Monitor workloads and overtime; implement approved changes with the Director of Revenue Services.
• Maintain hands-on knowledge of all billing functions to train, back-up, and support the team.
• Manage and oversee all Billing Department functions and ensure work is completed accurately within deadlines.
• Monitor actual billings against budgets and liaise with Revenue Managers as needed.
• Conduct group and individual training for all billing software users and maintain training materials.
• Lead the Billing team with a results-focused approach.
• Review billing progress including reports and analysis of billing statistics.
