Job summary

Falck US is seeking a Billing Manager to lead a hybrid team of billing specialists in Mesa, AZ. You will drive revenue, cash flow and cost efficiency by ensuring accurate claim creation, coding and submission.

You will coach a team of ~15, manage staffing and workflows, and use data dashboards to maintain First Pass Accuracy and continuous improvement while aligning with Operations, Insurance Relations and Support teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Revenue Cycle Management, medical billing, healthcare operations, or similar data-heavy environments.
• Led people or served as a senior lead and prepared for formal people management.
• Comfort with billing platforms (Logis or similar) and payor portals; willingness to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a hybrid team of billing specialists to meet performance targets.
• Set expectations, provide feedback, and coach team members into subject-matter experts.
• Build a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure efficient daily billing operations including eligibility checks, coding and submission.
• Plan staffing, queues and workflows to ensure accurate, timely, cost-efficient claims processing.
• Monitor KPIs and take action when performance drifts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize best practices and leverage automation.
