Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in billing, accounting or finance operations, including direct report supervision.

• Adaptable and quick to learn new systems and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead class action billing operations, issuing monthly invoices across a large portfolio of active cases.
• Manage monthly billing, compiling hours, expenses, and activity, securing Project Manager approvals, resolving items, and closing each cycle.
• Ensure accurate, complete, compliant billing across varying case requirements, service scopes, change orders, court-triggered events, and pass-through expenses.
• Capture all billable services and reimbursable costs, identify missed billing, and understand general ledger impacts and deferred revenue from advance billings.
• Manage and develop one direct report while remaining hands-on with daily billing.
• Support NetSuite implementation and improve billing workflows, reporting, and efficiency through standardization, automation, documentation, and controls.

Our client is an organization in the Washington County area that’s looking for a Billing Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and who has excellent leadership skills. This company offers flexibility, high visibility, and competitive benefits. This position is hybrid.

The salary for this position is $90K - $100K.

The Billing Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead class action billing operations, issuing monthly invoices across a large portfolio of active cases.
• Manage monthly billing, compiling hours, expenses, and activity, securing Project Manager approvals, resolving items, and closing each cycle.
• Ensure accurate, complete, compliant billing across varying case requirements, service scopes, change orders, court-triggered events, and pass-through expenses.
