Job summary

Maxim in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Billing Specialist to accurately perform the billing process for assigned locations. You will enter, extract, and compile records to support customer billing, calculate amounts due, and post transactions to customer accounting records.

This role requires strong MS Office skills, attention to detail, and clear communication to ensure invoices are followed up efficiently. You will also perform filing and general clerical duties and support other department

Qualifications

2+ years of billing and/or account reconciliation experience.
Strong MS Office skills and ability to write clear correspondence.
Ability to organize and prioritize work and follow up on invoices.

Responsibilities

Enter, extract, and compile records to support customer billing.
Accurately calculate amounts due.
Assist with the preparation of invoices to customers.
Post transactions to customer accounting records.
Ensure teammates have accurate information to follow up on outstanding invoices.
Perform filing and other general clerical duties.
Learn other department functions to provide support as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
