Job summary

VertexOne seeks an Implementation Specialist – Billing to lead CIS billing implementations, owning the billing workstream from business and technical perspectives. You will model requirements, translate them into specs, and guide clients through complex billing scenarios within end-to-end meter-to-cash processes.

Role requires 5+ years in software delivery, strong SQL, Jira, and data-migration experience; travel for on-site client meetings is expected.

Qualifications

Utility billing experience and CIS billing system knowledge required.
Experience with meter-to-cash processes and data migration.
5+ years in software delivery as consultant/analyst/implementation specialist.

Responsibilities

Lead clients through billing implementation, owning the business and technical view.
Model requirements and translate into functional/technical specs.
Perform gap analysis and propose solutions.
Develop and review business processes and design docs.
Conduct design sessions and workshops with stakeholders.
Configure billing setup: rates, schedules, determinants, cycles.
Support data migration, validate migrated data, troubleshoot exceptions.
Create and execute test cases across systems and integrations.
Investigate and resolve production issues; escalate risks as needed.
Coordinate with vendors on requirements, design, and testing phases.
Support all SDLC phases and mentor team members.
