• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable discussing billing and payment matters with customers and vendors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and changing priorities.
• Comfortable working independently and escalating when needed.
• Familiarity with electronic payment systems and business tech.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for customers and vendors on billing, payments, and reimbursements.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and internal platforms.
• Explain payment information clearly and professionally.
• Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups on invoices and payments.
• Maintain timely updates and high levels of service throughout interactions.
• Process customer payments, refunds, reimbursements, and provider payments.
• Manage failed or outstanding payments and set up payment arrangements.
• Coordinate payments for authorized services and verify documentation.
• Verify information before processing transactions and assist with refunds as needed.
• Document transactions and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments.
