Job summary

GPC in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a detail-oriented accounting/clerical professional to support AR, billing and store transactions. You will review bills, process freight receipts, generate weekly reports, and handle end-of-day cash transfers.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and solid Excel/Outlook skills. Prior JD Edwards/PeopleSoft experience is a plus and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with clerical experience.
• Experience with AP/GL/Sales Order entries is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team and problem solve in fast-paced environment.
• Detail minded with excellent handwriting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and correct coding for bills from HQ.
• Process for correcting EDI or keys receipt of parts for incoming freight.
• Run reports and review old open positions and reorder stock as needed.
• Perform end-of-day accounting and transfer funds between stores and HQ.
• Investigate credit card disputes and cash-on-demand totals.
• Distribute AR statements and manage store communications.
• Reconcile bank accounts and manage vendor payments.
• Process updated storefront bulletins and maintain files.
