Job summary

Wolverine Crane & Service is seeking an Accounting Specialist in Grand Rapids, MI, within the Finance & Administration department. You will handle customer billing, cash application, collections, and AR reconciliations to support cash flow and financial reporting.

The role collaborates with the Controller and various internal teams to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate receivables. Prior AR/billing experience and proficiency with Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Excel required.
• Manufacturing or service billing experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices for service work, inspections, parts, and installations.
• Post customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable subledger.
• Conduct regular collections follow-up and aging reviews.
• Support month-end close with AR reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain customer master data and related billing records.
