Job summary

Loeb & Loeb LLP seeks a Billing Coordinator to report to the Billing Manager in Los Angeles. The role will support standard billing and client accounting workflows, including proformas and client invoices, and provide training and guidance to teammates.

You will collaborate with attorneys, assistants, AR, and collections to resolve billing issues, monitor markdowns, write-offs, and ensure policy adherence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years law firm billing experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process billing for attorneys across practice groups, including editing time narratives.
• Coordinate, monitor and process markdowns and write-offs.
• Assist attorneys and assistants in understanding billing policies and procedures.
• Assist AR and Collections staff to resolve billing errors.
• Report daily activities with the billing team to resolve issues.
