Nextlink Internet seeks a Billing Manager to lead a growing team of Billing Specialists in a fast-paced on-site environment in Hudson Oaks, TX. You will oversee billing inquiries, collections, and process improvements to ensure accurate invoicing and outstanding cash flow.

You'll coach staff, monitor performance metrics, collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance, and foster a customer-focused culture that drives service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing, accounting, collections, customer service, or related field.
• Leadership, supervisory, or team-management experience preferred.
• Ability to motivate, develop, and hold team members accountable while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Build and develop the Billing team: recruit, train, mentor and grow Billing Specialists.
• Drive team performance: set expectations, monitor quality and productivity, coach for goals.
• Resolve escalations: own complex billing and account concerns and resolve professionally.
• Manage staffing and coverage: coordinate schedules to match call and ticket volume.
• Maintain service quality: review calls/tickets and provide constructive feedback.
• Improve processes: implement solutions to improve billing accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee collections: guide outbound collections on past-due accounts.
• Collaborate across departments: partner with Sales, Operations, Finance to resolve issues.
• Analyze performance and reporting: review metrics and identify trends to drive decisions.
• Create a positive team culture: foster engagement, collaboration, accountability.
