Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks a hands-on Billing Department Supervisor to lead our billing and coding team and strengthen revenue cycle performance. You will oversee daily billing operations, support staff development, monitor KPIs, ensure regulatory compliance, and build strong working relationships with providers and administration.

The ideal candidate has healthcare billing/coding experience, leadership ability, and a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare billing, coding, or revenue cycle management; leadership experience preferred.
• HIPAA and payer policy knowledge; compliant processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of billing and coding professionals.
• Oversee daily billing operations: claims, posting, denials, and patient billing.
• Monitor revenue cycle KPIs and implement improvement plans.
• Serve as primary contact for providers and administration; report on performance.
• Ensure HIPAA/compliance in billing practices and workflows.
• Develop and reinforce policies and best practices across the dept.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Support patient-centered billing interactions and resolve escalations.
• Step in as working team lead to cover staffing needs.
• Manage staff scheduling, time off approvals, and payroll submission.
