LHH is hiring a Billing Clerk for a large healthcare organization in Knoxville, TN. The Billing Clerk will manage the billing process, ensure accuracy and efficiency in invoicing, and maintain financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and send invoices to clients promptly.
  2. Verify billing data accuracy and correct errors.
  3. Maintain and update billing records and client accounts.
  4. Respond to client inquiries regarding billing issues.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless billing operations.
  6. Generate reports related to billing activities.
  7. Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
  8. Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with billing software and accounting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
