Job summary

Adecco is assisting a client in Atlanta, GA to fill a Bill Pay Initiator role. The position supports the Sports & Entertainment Group's financial management and bill-pay services, with a pay rate of $35.56 per hour and an 18‑month assignment.

Key duties include handling bill payments, onboarding clients, coordinating with vendors, maintaining records, and preparing monthly reports. Experience in bookkeeping, Bill Pay/Payment Operations, Xero, and Bill.com is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handles client transactions and resolves issues related to bill payments and account activity reconciliation.
• Participates in projects, tests new processes/software, and provides feedback on impact to business execution.
• Onboards new clients for Bill Pay Services and sets up accounts and credentials.
• Interfaces with client vendors to establish services and resolve issues for timely payments.
• Develops and maintains master checklists for each client for accurate bill processing.
• Escalates issues to vendors, clients, or Wealth Advisory team when irregularities occur.
• Creates and maintains detailed client financial records including logs, agreements, and payroll documentation.
• Prepares and delivers monthly reports including transaction summaries and cash flow variances.
• Leads or supports annual client budgeting processes.
• Other duties as needed.

Adecco is currently assisting one of its clients in their search for a Bill Pay Initiator in Atlanta, GA!

Pay rate: $35.56/hr.

Length: 18 months

The SEG Bill Pay Initiator role within the Sports & Entertainment Group (SEG) provides support and execution of activities for SEG clients enrolled in our Financial Management and Bill Pay service.

Our ideal candidate for this Bill Pay Initiator must have/must be able to:

• Handles a range of client transactions and provides problem resolution related to bill payments and account activity reconciliation
• Participates in key projects, testing new processes and/or software, and provides feedback on impact to business execution.
• Onboards new clients for Bill Pay Services, account setup, statement delivery, online access credentials and creation of master checklist of bills.
• Interfaces directly with client vendors to establish services, resolve issues, and ensure timely payments.
• Develops and maintains master checklist for each client to ensure accurate and timely bill processing.
• Proactively identifies and escalates issues to vendors, clients, or Wealth Advisory team when irregularities appear (i.e., unexpected bill amounts).
• Creates and maintains detailed client financial records including transaction logs, agreements, contracts, payroll, and supporting financial documentation.
• Prepares, produces, and delivers monthly reports including transaction summaries and budget variance / cash flow reports.
• Leads or participates in the annual client budgeting process, ensuring alignment with client financial goals.
• Other duties may be performed.

Education/Certification Requirements:

Experience requirements for this Bill Pay Initiator:

• Must have Bookkeeping experience
• Bill Pay/Payment Operations experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Client servicing
• Prior experience working with Xero (Accounting Software) and Bill.com a plus
