Job summary

Indiana Electric Cooperatives is seeking a billing data analyst to ensure accurate, timely monthly billings and to support billing software systems and tariff contracts. The role emphasizes collaboration with the Billing team and proactive data management.

You will maintain data collection processes, provide analytical support to staff and members, and help implement policies and procedures across the billing function. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field minimum; in lieu of degree, an additional 10 years' relevant experience may be considered.
• 5 years' hands-on experience with database interaction and data analytics; preferred background with electric utilities and meter data databases.

Responsibilities

• Develops, produces and distributes member system monthly billings with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Works with Billing team to manage billing software upgrades and staff training.
• Maintains data collection and billing data, ensuring 100% backup capability.
• Provides analytical support on load, billing, tariffs and contracts for staff and members.
• Assists members with questions and troubleshooting of bills and provides education on billing issues.
