Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Billing Analyst in Charlotte, NC to support the billing readiness process for North America Field Service. The role collaborates with field offices to validate job completion, confirm customer authorization, and ensure accurate cost postings for timely invoicing.

Responsibilities include monitoring open orders, supporting month-end close, addressing billing disputes, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of experience in business, administrative, operations, billing, finance, or customer support.
• 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Validate billing readiness by confirming customer authorization, service order or project completion, accurate cost postings, and Ready to Bill status.
• Review and correct cost posting errors and billing discrepancies as needed.
• Communicate with field offices about job status, required follow-up actions.
• Monitor open order activity daily and support month-end close to ensure timely billing readiness.
• Assist with customer disputes, researching issues and providing timely updates.
• Upload produced invoices into Customer Portals for payment.
• Perform updates in applicable systems to support accurate billing, reporting, and visibility.
• Meet performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in the billing process.
