AltaGas is seeking a Billing Analyst in the United States to manage billing for Transportation and Gas Customer Choice. You will validate daily readings with PowerSpring and oversee pool and supplier accounts in the gas nomination system.

The role requires collaboration with Gas Control, Operations, Marketing and Business Applications to ensure data accuracy, drive improvements, and support regulatory compliance. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• Five years of experience with related technologies/tools and billing systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with enterprise billing systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze billing processes to enhance customer experience and improve systems.
• Oversee daily readings via PowerSpring and integration with webPipeline.
• Verify billing accuracy, usage, rates, and special contracts.
• Collaborate with Gas Control, Operations, Marketing, and Business Applications.
• Drive process improvements and support related projects.
• Submit change requests, perform testing and QA post-deployment.
• Assist with collections and resolve billing disputes promptly.
• Support audits and SOX compliance, and generate reports.
