Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines is seeking an Accounting Analyst II/III/SR in Houston, TX to support the billing functions for its natural gas pipeline business. You will focus on accurate invoicing in line with FERC tariffs and customer agreements, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure revenue integrity.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years in billing or revenue accounting within the energy sector, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in natural gas/midstream Billing or Revenue Accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data.
• Ability to interpret FERC tariffs and contract terms for accurate billing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate monthly invoices for gas transportation and related services in accordance with tariffs and agreements.
• Analyze billing transactions, rates, surcharges, and charges to ensure accuracy.
• Interpret tariff provisions and contractual terms to determine rates and methods.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Legal, Revenue Accounting, and Operations teams to resolve issues.
• Support monthly close with reconciliations and reporting.
