Job summary

AmeriGas is seeking an AR Analyst – Centralized Billing to analyze centrally billed National Account and ACE customers, ensuring accurate billing and timely collection. The role involves account reconciliation, item research, and developing processes to improve billing and GL reconciliation workflows.

You will reconcile items, prepare analyses for delinquent accounts, and collaborate with National Accounts staff to prevent recurring issues, while supporting month-end close and reporting to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 0–2 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand the billing and setup of each account to ensure proper and timely billing of customer’s activity and collection of payments.
• Manage A/R for assigned accounts through account analysis, customer calls and account research.
• Reconcile accounts, research unapplied cash, short pays, charge-backs and collect outstanding balances.
• Identify reconciliation items and ensure proper and timely resolution.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and assist in month and year end closing.
• Build effective working relationships with key customer contacts - both internal and external.
