Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented billing specialist to manage the customer billing process. You will review contracts, set up agreements in the billing system, produce invoices, and reconcile related GL accounts.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or High school diploma or GED with equivalent experience demonstrating capability to perform job requirements
• Three to five years related experience with thorough knowledge of departmental function, terminology and interrelationships. Functional experience may be required by site.

Aufgaben

• Act as the billing contact for assigned contracts and field personnel.
• Review contracts for fixed fees, pass-through expenses, and revenue streams.
• Identify amendments, rate escalations, and enter them into the billing system.
• Produce monthly invoices for fixed and variable components on time.
• Process credit memos and billing adjustments.
• Reconcile related general ledger accounts (unbilled revenue, deferred revenue).
• Coordinate with project managers to obtain approvals and resolve inquiries.
• Ensure internal controls within the billing process.
• Collaborate with Finance Shared Services and M&C Water Finance on billing matters.
