Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Billing Analyst for a Healthcare client located in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. The role is full-time and in-office, with a pay rate of $28.16 per hour. You will report to the Finance Manager for retail expenses and support the Enterprise Security Department.

The position involves reviewing invoices, processing payments, assisting in monthly closings, and handling vendor and contract-related requests. An eye for detail and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for accurate data submissions and rate validations from multiple vendors daily.
• Process all assigned invoices accurately and timely.
• Assist in monthly closings by preparing accruals for Finance partners.
• Submit business requests (contracts, PO, vendorCREations) for new engagements.
• Submit requests for check voids and payment voucher cancellations as needed.
• Identify and research monthly variances to budget or forecast.
• Partner directly with the finance team on goals and initiatives.

• Pay Rate: $28.16 / hour

Requisition Job Description

• This position will be reporting to the Finance Manager for retail expenses and will be directly supporting the Enterprise Security Department.

Primary Areas of Responsibility

• Review invoices for accurate data submissions and rate validations from multiple vendors on a daily basis
• Process all assigned invoices accurately, efficiently and timely
• Assist in monthly closings by preparing accruals in a timely manner to our Finance partners for review and processing
• Submit business requests (contract, purchase orders, vendor creations etc.) for new engagements
• Submit requests for check voids and payment voucher cancellations as needed
• Identify and research monthly variances to budget or forecast
• Partner directly with the finance team on goals and initiatives

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional work experience in a fast-paced, high-volume data-entry office setting with an inquisitive mind set looking to learn and grow with the team
• Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proactive approach to problem solving and proven ability to prioritize competing demands from within the enterprise
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Ability to manipulate data and use basic functions in Excel
• Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and professionally both verbally and in writing in order to establish effective working relationships
• Ideal candidate will possess a sense of urgency with a proven ability to respond to and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP and Ariba

Education

• High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business is preferred.
