Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Melville, NY to identify a Research Billing Analyst. This role focuses on the financial lifecycle of clinical research studies, including budgeting, invoicing, and collections.

Hybrid work arrangement: remote with in-office collaboration two days per month in Melville. Salary range $62,000–$69,000 per year, with opportunities for professional development in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, billing, collections, or related financial operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of learning new software systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve research budgets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Generate monthly invoices to study sponsors based on research activity.
• Manage high-volume collections and conduct follow-up on outstanding invoices.
• Reconcile sponsor payments and process timely payments to research sites.
• Analyze and reconcile financial data, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
• Perform final financial reconciliations upon study completion.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support ongoing departmental projects.
