Job description

As Senior Clinical Trial Research Billing Analyst you will report to the Supervisor, Senior Clinical Trial Research Billing Analyst and will perform the following:

• Review sponsor research budget using critical thinking skills to ensure accuracy and analyze for consistency with budget details in the company's proprietary software application.
• Generate monthly invoices to study sponsors based upon research activity entered by external research sites.
• Manage high-volume research activity collections by conducting consistent follow-up on past due balances through email, phone, and other communication methods.
• Compare payments received from study sponsors for clinical activities with internal records, and process payments to external research sites on a timely basis.
• Utilize strong analytical and investigative skills to reconcile study data and maintain accurate financial records.
• Upon completion of a clinical trial, perform a final financial reconciliation of research activities and payments received.
• Participate in other departmental projects as necessary.

Education required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance or Accounting preferred) from an accredited university.

Experience Required:

• Minimum six years of experience working in a Finance, Accounting, or Clinical Research Financial Management Role.
