Job summary

Computers Unlimited in Billings, Montana is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support our financial operations by processing payments, preparing deposits, maintaining records, and assisting with monthly reporting. This hourly, non-exempt role requires detail orientation, the ability to work independently, and resourcefulness to solve problems while meeting deadlines.

You will handle billing cycles, accounts payable, reconciliations, tax returns, and documentation, with opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance preferred.
• 2+ years accounting experience preferred; ERP experience a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP/AR, taxes, financial statements).

Responsibilities

• Process monthly billing, generate invoices, and manage billing calendar.
• Handle accounts payable and ensure proper approvals and coding.
• Prepare deposits, process sales tax returns, and month-end close.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Provide back-up for accounting team and assist with annual users group conference.
