Job summary

Lamar Outdoor of Richmond is hiring an Operations crew member in Richmond, VA to install and maintain billboards, support structures, and cosmetics. The role is on-site and requires teamwork, safety discipline, and basic computer skills for reporting.

Training is provided, with opportunities for professional growth in outdoor advertising. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, OSHA 10-hour coursework, and the ability to work at heights up to 200 ft.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction course required.
• Preferred certifications (CDL/Non-CDL, Crane, Signal, Rigging, or LDD) depending on location.
• Experience working at heights up to 200 ft preferred.
• Equivalent education/experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining all billboards.
• Remove and hang flexes, vinyls, and prepare materials for installation.
• Repair and maintain structures, tighten bolts, paint and repair signs.
• Build and install extensions, trim vegetation, perform minor electrical repairs.
• Operate power and manual tools following safety regulations.
• Attend safety meetings and maintain company vehicles and tools.
• Document installations with photos and logs.
• Comply with DOT and OSHA safety regulations.
